The 2003 Topps X2: X-Men United Autographs represent quite a drop off from the first film’s signers. That’s not to say this set is a complete dud, but it’s severely lacking when paired with the big-name star power that the original had.
As far as actors go, the biggest of the autographs is Alan Cumming who debuted Nightcrawler in the cinematic franchise. James Marsden is another notable name, although he’s an actor that seems to sign for virtually every film he’s in that has cards.
After that, it’s mainly young supporting stars. It’s a far cry from the first film’s set, which included autographs from Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan and more.
The most valuable autograph card belongs to the film’s director, Bryan Singer. While he has put together an impressive career behind the camera, much of the card’s value comes from its extreme rarity. It’s a major short print landing 1:4,337 packs.
Overall, autographs land 1:30 hobby packs of 2003 Topps X2: X-Men United. They are not in retail packs.
