The 1998 Inkworks TV’s Coolest Classics Autographs are one of those few sets that cross over to multiple licenses. Drawing from some of the most popular comedies of the 1960s, the seven cards cover five different shows.
Inserted 1:180 packs, they’re far from a box guarantee in 1998 Inkworks TV’s Coolest Classics.
Classic Signers
The checklist doesn’t necessarily have the biggest names from their respective shows, but they’re not bit players either. Think of them as key secondary cast, which is likely perfectly acceptable for those chasing such a nostalgia-driven product. Signers include Get Smart‘s Barbara Feldon, Robert Clary of Hogan’s Heroes and both Barry Williams and Susan Olsen of The Brady Bunch.
Although the checklist has seven cards, it goes up to A8. A7 does not exist.
Today, all of the cards carry moderate values. That said, none are extremely pricey. This is likely a byproduct of not having a major headliner but rather targeting that key middle ground.
Also contributing to today’s prices is the fact that they’re not very easy to find. TV’s Coolest Classics seems to have had a fairly decent production run — at least it’s still available somewhat still today — autographs were tough enough from the outset that many were absorbed into collections years ago.
