Topps has announced that it’s back in partnership with World Wrestling Entertainment and will be producing wrestling cards once again. The first set will be Topps Heritage Wrestling and will release in November.
Topps is no stranger to the wrestling ring. For much of the 1980s the New York-based company held a license with the WWF. During the last big wrestling boom Topps worked with the now defunct World Championship Wrestling, producing some memorable sets that included large autograph checklists.
Topps Heritage Wrestling will feature current day and legendary WWE Superstars. They will be showcased in vintage Topps card designs, on traditional gray back stock. The base set will consist of 90 cards. Inserts will include autograph and memorabilia cards. Like other Heritage products, each pack will also include a piece of gum.
