Heroes arrived on the scene with a splash. The first season was both exciting and intriguing. Given its roots in comic lore and storytelling, Heroes trading cards were inevitable. Topps started with the license, producing a pair of sets. However, they didn’t arrive until after the show had peaked and interest was starting to diminish. That didn’t stop the first set from doing well when it first came out. Led by several key autograph signers and sketch cards, it got a strong reception.
Rittenhouse picked up the Heroes trading card license after the show was cancelled. Their lone set was loaded with autographs. While not as popular as their Topps counterparts, these autographs have the benefit of on-card signatures versus stickers.
