Buffy the Vampire Slayer Trading Cards
There was a time when Buffy the Vampire Slayer trading cards were the hottest thing on the entertainment side of the hobby. Inkworks put out sets for all seven seasons as well as several spin-off sets that looked closer at different aspects of the show and its characters.
Virtually all of the main cast and several prominent guest stars have Buffy the Vampire Slayer autograph cards from Inkworks. The one exception is a big one, Sarah Michelle Gellar who played the titular character.
Later sets added Pieceworks cards that have small swatches of show-worn costumes.
Early sets continue to hold significant value, especially key autographs. Alyson Hannigan, James Marsters, David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter and John Ritter are among the most valuable Buffy the Vampire Slayer trading cards.
Rittenhouse Archives now holds the license for Buffy trading cards. While no specifics have been announced, Sarah Michelle Gellar will finally have signed cards.
