Masanori Murakami Autographs in 2003 Topps Stadium Club Baseball

With the inclusion of a dual autographed card featuring Willie Mays and Hank Aaron, 2003 Stadium Club Baseball already has some impressive signatures. The set also has autographs from Masanori Murakami, the first Japanese-born player in the majors.

Murakami is paired on a Co-Signers insert alongside Kazuhisa Ishii.

Murakami, who pitched for the San Francisco Giants from 1964 to 1965, signed his name using Japanese characters. His lone cards from his career can be found in 1965 Topps and 1965 O-Pee-Chee Baseball.
