After two sets of costume cards that focused largely on Jennifer Garner, 2004 Inkworks Alias Season 3 Pieceworks bring more balance to the mix. All nine cards in the release come from different characters, all of whom played key roles.
Pieceworks costume cards are 1:36 Alias Season 3 packs, which translates into one per box. After having multiple costume cards in the first two Alias trading card releases, Jennifer Garner’s Sydney Bristow is on just one card this time. The likes of Michael Vartan (Michael Vaughn), Melissa George (Lauren Reed) and Isabella Rosellini (Katya Derevko) join her.
There is a bit of a tradeoff with the mix of characters. Alias Season 1 and Season 2 Pieceworks cards have some fun outfits getting cut up. This led to lots of interesting and unique swatches. Season 3 Pieceworks cards lean towards the plain side of things. Even Rosellini’s piece, which is colorful, has a consistent patter throughout.
