2025 Rittenhouse Cheers Premiere Edition brings the iconic TV show to trading cards for the first time. It makes total sense, too. When it was originally on the air from 1982 through 1993, the hobby was largely about kids and an adult comedy set in a Boston bar might not make for same hit as it was in the ratings.
Fast forward to more than 30 years after the final episode and things have changed in the collecting world. Autographs and premium content drives a lot of products today. That’s exactly what’s happening here with the promise of two autographs and a memorabilia card in every hobby box.
2025 Rittenhouse Cheers Premiere Edition Checklist Details
The base set has 99 cards, which conveniently works out to one per episode for the show’s first four seasons, the focus of the product as a whole. According to Rittenhouse, base cards take a retro approach, touching on the show’s era.
All 99 cards have Gold parallels that are numbered to 82, a reference to 1982, the year Cheers first aired.
Autographs and Memorabilia Cards
Like a lot of the company’s recent products, autographs come in several different designs including Full-Bleed, Bordered, Dual and Inscriptions with additional notes and quotes to go with the signature.
Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer, John Ratzenberger, George Wendt and Bebe Neuwirth are among the lead stars signing for 2025 Rittenhouse Cheers Premiere Edition. Notable guest stars include Kate Mulgrew, Tom Berenger, Dan Hedaya, Fred Dryer and Carol Kane. There’s also Nancy Cartwright, now best known for voicing Bart Simpson. A couple of Boston sports legends also appear on the checklist, Wade Boggs and Kevin McHale. According to Rittenhouse, each case has at least one autograph from Danson or Grammer.

Inserts and Incentives
The 2025 Rittenhouse Cheers Premiere Edition checklist has a handful of additional inserts that delve into a variety of themes.
Hobby boxes should have two each from Norm! (18 cards), Opening Sequence (16 cards) and Quotable Cheers (18 cards). Memorable Duos (18 cards) and Starring Character (nine cards) are both approximately one per box.
Sketch cards with original art are also randomly inserted.
Those ordering nine cases of the product get an exclusive Dual Autograph featuring one of the show’s most memorable pairings, John Ratzenberger as Cliff Clavin / George Wendt as Norm Peterson.
