2024 Topps Chrome Star Wars Reflections Gallery, Checklist and Guide

2024 Topps Chrome Star Wars Reflections are some of the most valuable cards in the entire product, with prices outpacing most autographs and a lot of the low-numbered Refractors. There are likely a couple of reasons for it.

The first is that the concept is one of the best ever committed to Star Wars trading cards. Several key moments from the original trilogy are captured reflecting in other characters’ eyes or visors. The result is a stunning artistic close-up on the one hand. But they also show the familiar from a new perspective.

But there are lots of impressive inserts out there, Star Wars or otherwise, that can be found at affordable prices. Another factor, perhaps the biggest, is how rare they are. Reflections cards are 1:961 hobby packs. With just ten packs per box, that’s almost one for every 100 boxes. They’re in premium breaker’s delight boxes (1:51 boxes) and blaster value packs (1:1,603 packs) as well.

2024 Topps Chrome Star Wars Reflections have just one parallel, one-of-one Superfractors. These are 1:297,760 hobby packs, 1:5,014 breaker boxes and 1:411,904 blaster packs. With just five cards in the set, that’s how many Superfractors exist in the entire production run.

Reflections of the Past

This isn’t the first time these cards have appeared before. Their origins come from the Star Wars Card Trader app. Here, they were digital trading cards with the same idea and same art.

They roved to be popular enough among collectors on the app that Reflections got a physical version in 2016 Topps Star Wars Card Trader, a regular product stemming from digital content.

The design on these are slightly different but that’s mainly in the nameplate portion. These are also on standard card stock, not the metallic stock that Topps Chrome is known for.

The 2016 set also has seven cards to 2024 Topps Chrome Star Wars’ five.

Reflections are some of the most valuable 2016 Topps Star Wars Card Trader cards. However, they’re still much more affordable than the 2024 Topps Chrome versions. With a bit of legwork and patience collectors might be able to find an entire set of the physical 2016 cards for less than one 2024 Chrome card.

  1. The origins of “Reflections” in trading card form actually begins with Star Wars Galaxy Series 7 in 2012. Card #76 titled Geonosis Reflections, which was done by artist Christian Waggoner for Acme Archives in 2010, shows a reflection of Mace Windu in Jango Fett’s helmet.
