2024 Topps Chrome Baseball Helix Gallery, Checklist and Guide

2024 Topps Chrome Baseball Helix is one of several tough insert sets in the juggernaut release. They’re also some of the most colorful.

The Helix checklist has 15 cards. Ten are superstar veterans while the remaining five are rookies. Highlights include Elly De La Cruz, Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout, Jasson Dominguez and Juan Soto.

Although Helix is making its debut, the layout and general look may seem familiar. The cards are similar to Panini’s Color Blast, which has been around for several years across several sports. The helix wave is different from the exploding paint of Color Blast, but the flowing rainbow design elements and white backgrounds definitely tap into the same vibe.

2024 Topps Chrome Baseball Helix prices came out strong. Early after the product’s release, some top sales on eBay were around $1,000. Even the lesser names on the checklist were topping $100.

How Rare Are 2024 Topps Chrome Helix Cards?

Landing a Helix card isn’t easy. For standard hobby, they’re 1:3,532 packs. That’s about 1:147 boxes or 1:12 cases. The SSP inserts are also in jumbo (1:1,601 packs) and Breaker’s Delight (1:121 packs) configurations. Standard Helix cards are not in any retail packs.

For the Superfractors, they’re 1:693,882 hobby and 1:242,224 jumbo packs. They’re also possible in blasters with an insertion rate of 1,725,686 packs.

Because the base versions and Superfractors are different pack configurations, it’s tough to say exactly how many copies of each Helix card exist. However, it appears that each player has somewhere between 100 and 200 cards.
