2024 Super7 Peanuts trading cards are a limited release from San Diego Comic-Con. Highlighting the comic’s earliest days, the set taps into the inherent nostalgia of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang — even if they look a little different than what we’re typically used to seeing.
This isn’t a big set with just 12 cards. Each has a black and white illustration of a character taken from some of their first appearances. So they’re fairly primitive and quite different as to who they would evolve into. There’s not much to the card fronts outside of the drawing and the character’s name. A yellow border with “Peanuts” repeating throughout are the only other design element.
Backs have a little more, but not much. The date of their first appearance is joined by the corresponding comic. This adds a little history and purpose to the cards rather than just being another set of Peanuts trading cards (not that that’s a bad thing).
Every pack has one of 12 different stickers. These are in full color and have a comic panel on the front. The backs go together to form a full-color Sunday strip. Stickers will likely be much tougher to find as the base set is so small and it takes less than three packs to potentially get them all.
