2024 Rittenhouse House of the Dragon Season 1 trading cards both start something new and build off a popular piece of the hobby from the past decade-plus. It’s the beginning of a show with new actors and fresh possibilities. It’s also directly connected to Game of Thrones, one of the most popular card lines from the company in some time. To that end, there are some elements that may seem familiar to collectors but Rittenhouse is also trying some different things, namely with its somewhat condensed list of autograph signers and higher concentration of memorabilia cards.
Hobby boxes deliver one autograph card and a pair of costume cards.
2024 Rittenhouse House of the Dragon Season 1 Checklist Details
The base set is a modest 50 cards. Each of the first season’s ten episodes get the recap treatment over three cards. Like Rittenhouse’s seasonal Game of Thrones products, there’s also a lot of character cards. Four levels of parallels are available: Gold Foil-Stamped, Red Foil-Stamped (#’ed/50), Holo Foil-Stamped (1/1) and Printing Plates.
While autographs come in several forms, the list of signers is limited to just 19 actors. These include show leads Milly Alcock, Olivia Cooke, Paddy Considine, Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith.
Full Bleed Autographs are joined by Autograph Relics and Dual Autographs. Inscription Autographs, which come with a different design and an added notation from the actor like a line or character name, are a case hit.

The 2024 Rittenhouse House of the Dragon Season 1 checklist has a large number of memorabilia cards. It starts with more than 50 different single relics. Dual and Triple Relic Cards are also available.
Rounding out the traditional hits are sketch cards. More than a dozen artists provide high-quality original art on each of these.
Nine more insert sets are in the product as well. Artist Rendition and Relationships both have Red Foil (#’ed/50) and one-of-one Holo Foil parallels. Nine Character Gallery cards also have Metal versions that are numbered to just 25.
All ten shows have JJ Lendl Episode Poster cards. The artist signed 25 copies of each.
Other chase sets include The Dragons (nine cards), Fire Will Reign (six cards), House Rivals (nine cards), Locations (nine cards) and Poster Gallery (four cards).
Each sealed case comes with one of three different House Motto cards while those ordering 12 cases receive a Paddy Considine/Matt Smith Dual Autograph that isn’t in packs.
Available separately, a binder comes with an exclusive promo card not available in packs.
