2024 Rittenhouse Disney Hits Second Edition expands on the first (and larger) set from a couple of years earlier. New movies mean more songs. More songs mean more cards — including one about a certain character nobody talks about.
2024 Rittenhouse Disney Hits Second Edition Checklist Details
The checklist picks up where the initial installment left off, both with the animated films it covers and the numbering. It’s just eight cards this time around, down from 30 the first time around. Turning Red, Elemental, Encanto and Wish are the only movies in the set.
Fronts have an image from the movie while backs spotlight the song’s creators and place it within the larger context of its place in the story.
Three-card packs were only available at Disney’s D23 convention, which was held in Anaheim on August 9-11. A total of 7,500 packs were distributed at the event.
While that would suggest around 2,800 copies per card if all were made in equal numbers, singles are fairly tough to find. It’s likely for a couple of reasons. The first is that many packs remain sealed. There’s also a good chance that many cards made their way into hands of Disney fans who may or may not also collect cards. So rather than selling them, many are likely being held as souvenirs from the show.
