2024 Panini Prizm Rolling Stones trading cards take a colorful look at one of the most iconic rock bands to ever take the stage. Combining the elements that make Prizm one of the hobby’s most popular bands with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and company, it’s a bit of a different take than what collectors might be used to with similar sports releases. That said, there’s some familiarity in chasing rainbows and some of the product’s tough inserts.
Available in multiple box and pack formats, the checklist has lots of elements to it, offering a deep dive into the band, their music and the Rolling Stones’ impact on popular culture.
2024 Panini Prizm Rolling Stones Checklist Details
The base set lays the foundation for the release. Highlighting members of the band and going into their history, cards are printed on chromium stock. The metal-like material gives a certain shine.
This really comes through in the many parallels that are also part of the checklist. Collectors can go after full runs of specific cards or musicians. Or maybe just stare at the various colors and patterns.
Some base cards also have variations that look at former members of the group.
Albums is a die-cut insert set that highlights the entire Rolling Stones discography from the last six-plus decades. Shaped like a record being pulled from a sleeve, there additional parallels are available with these as well.
Keeping with the die-cut theme is International Licks. These use the iconic lips logo mashed together with different flags from around the world, looking at the band’s global popularity.
Digging further into Rolling Stones history are Behind the Scenes, Moments and Milestones, Poster Perfection and Singles Artwork.
A couple of popular Prizm case hits make the leap from the field to the stage. Among them is Color Blast, which have been given a lips makeover.
Illustrated Manga cards also appear on the checklist. These use Japanese-style artwork, making the band look as though they’re rocking out in a comic.
