2024 Panini Absolute Football Kaboom is not only one of the most recognizable inserts of the season but it’s among the most valuable.
Split into two similar but separate styles, the popular cards present superstars, rookies and legends as though they were in the middle of some Wile E. Coyote Acme carnage or in the middle of an Adam West Batman fist fight. The cartoon stylings pop against the explosion pattern of the foil they’re printed on.
The 2024 Panini Absolute Football Kaboom checklist is composed of 16 Horizontal and 41 Vertical cards. This is up slightly from the 15 Horizontal and 40 Vertical in 2023. All also have Gold (#’ed/10) and Green (1/1) parallels.
The orientation of the two sets isn’t the only difference. Horizontal versions are more common than their Vertical counterparts. While both are tough pulls, Horizontal are primarily in mega and blaster boxes. These are both more widely available at retail. These boxes are also significantly more affordable as they’re not so heavy on autographs and memorabilia. Vertical Kaboom cards are only the pricier and hits-heavy hobby boxes.
Panini hasn’t released specific odds on how tough 2024 Absolute Kaboom cards are. That said, like past years, they’re short prints, often referred to as case hits.
Where to Find 2024 Absolute Kaboom Inserts
2024 Panini Absolute Football Kaboom cards are found in different types of packs and boxes depending on what you’re looking for. Standard Horizontal cards are in mega boxes, blaster boxes and the new Pop-Up Countdown Calendar. The rarer Vertical Kaboom cards as well as all Gold and Green parallels are exclusive to hobby packs.
Standard retail and gravity feed boxes do not have any Kaboom inserts.
