2023 Panini Prizm WWE Color Blast marks the second installment of the wildly popular (and rare) inserts set inside a wrestling ring.
The ten-card checklist isn’t big but it’s a strong mix of generational stars, respected Hall of Famers and current top names. The Undertaker, Roman Reigns, Triple H and Hulk Hogan are among the highlights.
While exact odds were not released by the card maker, Color Blast inserts are tough. Further adding to their rarity is the fact that they’re only available in standard hobby packs. You won’t find them in retail or other configurations like Under Card.
Color Blast made its debut in 2019 in several Panini products across multiple sports. It didn’t take long for them to take off on the secondary market, driven largely by their rarity. In the years since, interest hasn’t waned even with an ever-growing number of cards and years.
Scarcity isn’t the only driver, though. The look is distinct. While not overly complicated and filled with white space, the color — well — blasts from the card. The end result is something that’s both bright and filled with pop.
2012 Panini Prizm WWE also has ten Color Blast cards. Roman Reigns is the only wrestler in both sets.
