2023 Fright-Rags Halloween 4 sees the return of Michael Myers to trading cards. The micro-produced product may give off a throwback vibe in most regards, but there is a definitively modern element in there as well.
2023 Fright-Rags Halloween 4 Checklist Details
The film, which saw the franchise return to being Michael Myers-focused after a spinoff story for Halloween III: Season of the Witch, gets a recap in the base set. It’s an 81-card affair plus a checklist. Not only does the design have a retro look to it, but the cards themselves feel like they belong among Topps’ releases from the 1980s. That’s because of the cardboard stock that is seldom used today.
Six cards have parallels that are easy to spot thanks to their blue borders.
One-of-ones are also available with one coming in every box. However, they’re not in packs. Plates are a box topper instead.
Every pack includes one of nine different stickers. Backs on these go together to form a puzzle.
Rounding out the checklist are four autographs, which combine to land one per box. Signers include Danielle Harris (Jamie Lloyd), Kathleen Kinmont (Kelly Meeker), Sasha Jenson (Brady), and Erik Preston (Young Michael Myers).
Fright-Rags made 300 boxes of 2023 Halloween 4 trading cards with each carrying an original cost of $120. The company also had individual packs for $5. A factory set with all 82 base cards and two stickers was also produced.
