For fans of Star Trek, there have been a ton of autographs to collect. It seems like virtually every major cast member and the majority of those who had a couple seconds of screen time in the original series have signed at least one card. But even with the hundreds of different options, dual autographs have remained largely rare. That was until the 2011 Rittenhouse Star Trek Remastered Original Series Autographs came along.
This is the first time that a dual autograph was guaranteed in any box of Star Trek cards. There is an ample number of regular autographs as well, which also combine to land one per box.
The 2011 Rittenhouse Star Trek Remastered Original Series Dual Autographs have a few impressive combinations. There’s William Shatner with BarBara Luna, Leonard Nimoy and Majel Barrett, and George Takei with Walter Koenig and several more.
The top regular autographs are both incentives and not found in packs. Nimoy is a six-case incentive. Nichelle Nichols was given to those ordering at least three cases.
The designs for both the single- and dual-autographs mimic the one started back when SkyBox had the Star Trek trading cards license in the late 1990s. Numbering also continues, adding continuity.
