2007 Inkworks LOST Season 3 is the final set the card maker would produce for the hit show. The configuration falls in line with their previous three releases, with a big focus on autographs and costume cards.
About half of the 90-card base set is done in the form of show recaps. Each episode has two cards except for the two-part finale. Each of those have an extra card. Other episodes dig deeper into the always-expanding cast of characters, relationships and some of the island’s mysteries.
2007 Inkworks LOST Season 3 Autographs and Inserts
Ten more autographs are added to the on-going list. It has a couple of names that were big for the show at the time, but there isn’t a lot of depth outside of LOST. Top autographs include Michael Emerson (Ben Linus) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet). 2007 Inkworks LOST Season 3 has one autograph per box.
Pieceworks are also a box hit. These have screen-worn costume swatches from a variety of characters, including leads who might not have autographs. Two Pieceworks cards, PW-12A and PW-12B aren’t in packs. Rather, they were given to dealers as incentives for ordering multiple cases.
Although not big names,Marsha Thomason and Andrew Divoff have autographed Pieceworks cards.
2007 Inkworks LOST Season 3 has a single Propworks card that has a piece of the Oceanic 815 plane. Distributed by redemption, you’re not going to find the actual cards in packs now. There’s also an autographed version, also via redemption, signed by Greg Grunberg who played the pilot.
Packs also have three basic insert sets. Ties to the Island uses a die-cut design. Fighting Back is the standard nine-card foil puzzle. Finally, there are three Through the Looking Glass cards that equal out to about one per box.
After Inkworks went out of business, the LOST license made its way over to Rittenhouse who made a few sets of their own.
