Jericho started with a bang, both in the story and with buzz. But before long, it ran out of gas — at least with the masses. That said, the 2007 Inkworks Jericho Season 1 trading cards offer an intriguing mix of options, particularly for those seeking autographs. Every box comes with one autograph and one costume card.
The 2007 Inkworks Jericho Season 1 base set has 72 cards. While most dig into the episodes themselves, a good chunk at the start of the set is devoted to the deep cast of characters.
The product has a total of eight basic autographs. Headlining the list is lead star, Skeet Ulrich. At one time it looked like he had a promising career ahead of him. Although he may not be an A-lister, it is a name many are still familiar with. Among the other signers are Ashley Scott and Sprague Grayden.
For those looking to build a master set, the large Pieceworks checklist may prove to be the most challenging. Thirteen cards come with costume swatches embedded in them. A few have multiple swatches, although they’re all part of the same checklist.
The most valuable 2007 Inkworks Jericho Season 1 cards are three Autographed Pieceworks. Ulrich, Scott and Kenneth Mitchell all have signed costume cards. It is worth noting that all three were inserted in packs as redemptions. These are no longer valid so the secondary market is the only way to get them now.
Other basic inserts include a nine-card foil puzzle titled Fallout and Survivors, a separate six-card set.
Although Jericho got renewed for a second season, the show never got another full set of trading cards.
