When it comes to options, there’s no lack of 2004 Topps Baseball factory sets. Collectors have a total of eight different ones to choose from, each with their own set of exclusive cards.
All of the 2004 Topps Baseball factory set bonus cards revolve around young prospects and rookies — or first-year players as they were referred to back then.
Hobby sets and those from the J.C. Penny catalog each have five different First-Year Player Bonus cards. Both of the retail factory sets have Draft Pick Bonus cards. The first five are in the Blue retail box sets while the remaining nine are in the Holiday Green retail set.
Four teams also got their own 2004 Topps Baseball factory sets: the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros. Each has five exclusive cards highlighting the franchises’ top prospects at the time. Of the 20 team-specific cards, Robinson Cano and Kevin Youkilis are the best.
Below is a breakdown of all the factory set exclusives and where to find them.
