Long before Arnold Schwarzenegger raised the sword and put on the fuzzy medieval underoos, Conan the Barbarian was a fantasy icon in stories and comics. Perhaps the most iconic rise to prominence outside of Hollywood was Marvel’s Savage Sword of Conan comic magazine. That’s the inspiration for the 2004 Rittenhouse Conan: Art of the Hyborian Age trading cards.
2004 Rittenhouse Conan: Art of the Hyborian Age Checklist Details
The 72-card base set takes interior art from the magazine, which was published in black and white, and makes them full-color.
Every box of 2004 Rittenhouse Conan: Art of the Hyborian Age comes with a SketchaFEX sketch card drawn by one of eight different artists, such as Warren Martineck, Darren Auck and Mark Pennington. Each has original artwork done directly on the card.
The set has three additional insert sets. Ode to the Cimmerian (12 cards, 1:4 packs) features Conan poetry. Images on the front are kept in black and white to offer some contrast from the rest of the product. Rise of the King (six cards, 1:40) shows the evolution of Conan into a king. Savage Sisterhood (nine cards, 1:8) features pinup artwork of some of the beauties from the comic.
Dealers had a couple of incentives available when the set was released. A Stan Lee autograph was included as a case topper. A color SketchaFEX card by Warren Martinek was offered as a multi-case incentive.
2004 Rittenhouse Conan: Art of the Hyborian Age had a print run of 4,000 boxes.

Recently I bought a set of 2004 Conan Art Of The Hyborian Age from eBay. The set was short card #1 and had a damaged card #72. Coincidence? I think not. Anyway the seller refunded my money and told me to keep the set. I need those two cards. Can you help me?
