2003 Artbox Terminator 2 FilmCardz came out more than a decade after the film was released. But this doesn’t really matter. T2 remains an action classic that is just as good today as it was when it premiered. Despite being an R-rated blockbuster, the movie actually had two trading card sets back in 1991. Even that doesn’t hurt this unique release that mixes a cool design with some awesome inserts.
2003 Artbox Terminator 2 FilmCardz Checklist Details
The 72-card base set resembles a series of large slides that retell all the key parts of the movie. Borders are done with a metallic look. They act as a frame for the cel-like translucent image in the middle. This is where the FilmCardz line get their name.
Basic inserts are essentially base card extensions, only with different numbering and greater rarity. Cyberetch cards are inserted one per pack. There are also Rare (six cards, 1:8 packs) and Ultra Rare (three cards, 1:12) that continue with the same sort of theme. So do the three box toppers.
Autographs and Memorabilia Cards
2003 Artbox Terminator 2 FilmCardz is an Arnold Schwarzenegger short of a perfect autograph lineup. While Ah-nuld didn’t sign here, there is Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor), Edward Furlong (John Connor) and Robert Patrick (T1000).
The set also has five FilmWear cards that can be found in packs. These have pieces of costumes used in the making of the film alongside a small slide similar to the base set. A FilmFX card with metallic material used with the T1000 is the rarest card in the product. It’s limited to 30 copies. There’s an addition memorabilia card that was given out as a box topper.

For a while, 2003 Artbox Terminator 2 FilmCardz were relatively inexpensive. However, supply has dried up and values for many of the key cards have since risen.
