As beloved as the movie is, 2001 NECA Beetlejuice trading cards are the only ones to showcase the movie. And it’s not even a full-on release. There was a set based on the animated series but that’s a totally different beast.
NECA issue the product as a 24-card factory set. And even with the small size, not a lot of effort went into it. Fronts have a still from the movie. Backs have a short write-up but there’s not much to them. Adding to this is the relatively flimsy stock the cards are printed on.
2001 NECA Beetlejuice does not have inserts of any kind, which means no autographs from the likes of Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Geena Davis and company. However, director Tim Burton and Glenn Shadix (Otho) do have signed cards in NECA’s Nightmare Before Christmas set that also came out in 2001. In the years since, Michael Keaton and Geena Davis autograph cards have also been released.
