2001 Cards Inc Thunderbirds Premium trading cards offer a modern hobby spin on the classic Gerry Anderson show. It’s not an overly complicated release but it does have some modern elements.
The 72-card base set reminds us about the show’s strange charms. Ships, characters and episode moments are all included.
Every other 2001 Cards Inc Thunderbirds Premium box comes with an autograph. The list of eight signers includes the voice actors for several key characters as well as Anderson, the show’s creator, and art director Bob Bell. Most of the autographs have 800 copies. Sylvia Anderson, who voiced Lady Penelope, is somewhat short-printed at 600 copies.
Thunderbirds Are Go Foil cards are the easiest inserts to find in packs. These are inserted 1:5 packs and highlight heroes, villains and the Thunderbirds fleet.
Four Ultra-Rare cards combine to land every other box.
