The 1999 Topps WCW Embossed Autographs wrap up a memorable three-set run in the signature series. Overall, it’s the weakest of the checklists, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its standouts.
A total of 27 different autographs are included in the product. Lex Luger, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Steven Regal lead the way. Among the other notables are WWE Hall of Famer Madusa (aka Alundra Blayze) and Buff Bagwell.
The design stays consistent with the ones used in the WCW/nWo and Nitro releases.
Autographs land 1:49 hobby packs. Today, individual cards have all but dried up. So has most of the 1999 Topps WCW Embossed unopened boxes. Even the lesser stars still command good attention as people look to plug away at sets, both for this set and the full run.
