1999 Kellogg’s Corn Pops Rocks trading cards give new meaning to pop music. The ten-card set highlights some big and emerging names that were blasting through the radio waves at the time. Among them is one of the most iconic boy bands of all-time and a solo card of their most famous member.
This is a food-issue release that was somewhat limited in its distribution. Packs, each containing two cards, were available in specially marked boxes of Corn Pops for a limited time — only in Canada.
*NSYNC dominates much of the checklist. The band appears together on one card as well as solo turns for all five members of the band. This includes one of the earliest Justin Timberlake cards. Panini did a set of oversized Photo Cards for the band in 1999 as well. Topps also did a set dedicated to the band in 2000.
Rounding out the checklist are two cards a piece for Billy Crawford and the duo of McMaster & James.
