1997 Dart FlipCard Sailor Moon Prismatic trading cards add another layer of sparkle to the classic anime series. The entire base set is printed in a premium format with additional inserts adding a tough chase today.
1997 Dart FlipCards Sailor Moon Prismatic Checklist Details
The main set totals 72 cards, showcasing both characters and moments from the cartoon. What makes it stand out is the namesake Prismatic card stock. It gives a speckled foil pattern throughout the background, a style normally reserved for insert sets at the time. Combined with the colorful artwork, there is no shortage of pop.
Six Lenticular cards are the only inserts found in packs. Each shows a character, flipping between two forms as the card is tilted. Falling 1:18 packs, there should be two per box. That said, there’s not a lot of this set out there so these aren’t easy to find and values are strong.
Dart also had a mail away offer for six jumbo Prismatic Mega cards. Each set cost $9.95 with cards measuring 3.5″ by 5″.
A binder was also made for the set.
