The 1997 Dart FlipCards Munsters Deluxe Series 2 Autographs are the first licensed signed cards for the classic but relatively short-live show. While there are just four cards in the set, they represent the four living members of the Munsters clan from when the product came out.
Yvonne DeCarlo (Lily), Al Lewis (Grandpa), Butch Patrick (Eddie) and Pat Priest (Marilyn) all have signed cards. Fred Gwynne is the only main cast member not on the checklist. He died in 1993, four years before it came out.
Inserted 1:300 packs, autographs aren’t easy to pull from packs. With 36 packs per box, it works out to about 1:9 boxes.
More Munsters autographs arrived a few years later from Rittenhouse. Intended to be part of a full release, these came out as a mini set. DeCarlo, Priest and Patrick are the signers there.
Butch Patrick has more autographs in non-Munsters themed pop culture releases including 2011 Topps American Pie and 2014 Panini Golden Age.
