1992 SkyBox Disney Collector Cards Series 2 is a lot like the first set of trading cards. Surprise! Outside of the cards themselves, the biggest change might be the company logo on the back.
Another generously printed early 1990s release, it’s not exactly rare. But for Disney fans, it covers a lot of classic animated shorts.
1992 SkyBox Disney Collector Cards Series 2 Checklist Details
Spanning 200 cards, the main set is a big one. About half of this is dedicated to visual breakdowns of some of the most memorable cartoons starring Disney icons like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. These are intended to be put into nine-pocket pages, forming short comics basically.
The second half of the checklist looks at things like comic strips, posters, and even instructions on how to draw key characters.
Double-Sided Holograms return as the chase in 1992 SkyBox Disney Collector Cards Series 2. That said, there are just three in the set making a master set of everything not too tough.
Series 1 was made by Impel while Series 2 boasts the SkyBox name and logo. They’re actually the same company. Impel just changed their name.
